Rose Randall Warner - True Voice Studio
Do you love to sing? Are you tired (scared? terrified?) of never knowing what will happen when you open your mouth?  Do you want to sing easily and freely, using your TRUE VOICE?

Then let’s get started on using music to motivate, to relax, to soothe and to excite!

I’m Rose Randall Warner – and I'm not your typical voice teacher. Mine is a more holistic approach to singing. I’ll help you learn to identify the talent and confidence already inside of you. My work with many fine musicians and teachers has helped me create a unique approach to the voice and using it on stage and off. Every singer, young or old, experienced or novice, needs to have a good knowledge of the care and handling of their instrument.

I am a working performer in the field of church music and musical theatre. After years of studying Vocal Performance and Theatre at Wayne State University in Detroit on a full scholarship, I traveled with a vocal jazz quartet, recorded with a classical octet, competed in a Miss America state preliminary pageant, performed in summer stock, did voice over and commercial jingle work, concertized with a chamber music group, and worked both on and off the stage in most areas of the performing arts. In the course of 30 years of performing I’ve found what works and what doesn't.

Every singer is a storyteller; truly singing and speaking go hand in hand. I believe "fake" sounds or accents, unless required by a role, are an indication of bad habits forming.  Learning how to carry yourself on stage can take you far, and not just in the footlights. My work has transformed timid children and shy adults into capable and compelling speakers.

More  than a decade ago, I started teaching voice at a large dance studio. Some of the children I worked with were doing amazing things on stage, yet were hampered by undeveloped voices.  This experience taught me how to work with the young voice so as to promote good habits and avoid injury. After 6 years there, I moved into my home studio permanently, and have continued there these last several years.

If you’ve thought about voice lessons, contact me. There’s no doubt we’ll do lots of singing -- but you’ll experience much more than learning scales and whether you’re an alto, tenor or soprano. Let’s get working on singing with your one true voice!
